Formations and types of musicians…
Whether in a large concert, a festival or in an intimate private setting, Ron can play in various formations.
A trio consisting of a standup acoustic bassist, guitarist and Ron playing violin and singing is one of the most popular.
A quartet can be made by adding another guitar can be added to give more of a Django and Grapelli or jazz manouche feel. A piano is another choice for those who prefer the sound of piano.
A Duo with a guitar or piano can also work as can adding a tasty jazz brushes drummer to create a more robust sound to the rythme.
A Solo performance is even possible in some circumstances for Ron to play with violin and vocals with great recorded live musician accompaniment.
Another combination can have Ron playing guitar and singing, while adding a saxophone and/or a bassist for a different sound.
Weddings and marriage ceremonies in Provence, the Vaucluse, Côte d’azur or anywhere else in France, Canada and the world are also welcome! Don’t worry!, Ron will help you decide what is best to make everything go perfectly! A few suggestions could be Schubert’s Ava Maria, Albinoni’s Adagio or Schumann’s Traumerei can be played on violin accompanied by piano or guitar.
